Halong Bay reopens 3 routes to welcome tourists after typhoon Yagi
According to the Halong Bay Management Board (Quang Ninh), some tourist attractions on Halong Bay have met the conditions to welcome and serve tourists.

The routes organized to welcome tourists include: route 1 (Thien Cung - Dau Go tourist attractions); route 2 (Sung Sot, Hang Luon, Ti Top tourist attractions); route 5 (except Ba Hang).

In addition, the overnight accommodation locations that are also qualified to welcome guests are: Hon 587 - Nha Lat - Hang Luon; Hon Cat Lan high-speed boat transfer point.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Nguyen Lam Nguyen - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Tourism - said that storm Yagi caused damage to facilities serving tourists.

After typhoon Yagi, Cua Van Floating Cultural Center was severely damaged, 15 preserved raft houses in Cua Van fishing village were completely submerged.

Property of people and businesses at service points (rowing boats, kayaking) of service units on Halong Bay (Ba Hang, Cong Do, Cua Van, Hang Luon, Vung Vieng) was completely destroyed. At Tuan Chau 27 port, a day cruise ship and 1 overnight ship were sunk.

Halong Bay Management Board is coordinating with departments, branches, sectors and localities to urgently overcome the situation to welcome tourists back.

In addition to the reopened tourist routes, the remaining tourist attractions on Halong Bay, the Management Board is continuing to mobilize maximum forces to urgently overcome the consequences after the storm and will announce the organization to welcome visitors back as soon as possible.
